Rotor-type gas meters are designed for gas quantity measurement, storage, or technical metering applications.

The devices are mainly applied for gas flow rates between 0.2 and 650 m³/h and pressure ranges up to 20 bar. Specially designed rotary gas meters can also be used in high-pressure installations.

CGR rotary gas meters are used in measuring systems where high accuracy is required:

- transportation of natural gas

-primary and secondary dimensions

-control of measurement of natural gas and non-aggressive technical gases in the industry

- flow measurement for technical purposes
